| Data voucher | Depending on the order, a data voucher can be requested in one of the three plans for GEENY SecureSIM. The GEENY SecureSIM Deutschland plan comes with 1,500 MB and can only be used in Germany. The GEENY SecureSIM EU plan comes with 1,000 MB in country zone 1 – Germany included. The GEENY SecureSIM International plan comes with 750 MB of data in country zones 1 and 2 and Germany. Text messages cannot be sent with this plan. The data voucher is billed in the activation month. Data vouchers for different plans cannot be combined. Text messages can be received free of charge in all GEENY SecureSIM plans. |
| Period of use | The data voucher’s initial period of use begins as soon as the SIM cards’ status is changed to “Activated”. The voucher’s initial period of use is limited to 10 years (120 months). Unused data, and unused included text messages, expire after the end of the initial period of use of 10 years. At that time the SIM card will be deactivated by Telefónica Germany and can no longer be used. The initial period of use ends early when the data volume included has been utilised in full. Included text messages not sent by this time will expire at the end of the initial period of use. If further vouchers are not purchased within three months of the data volume expiring, Telefónica Germany will deactivate the SIM card. |

| Activation | SIM cards are delivered in “Ready to activate” status. The individual SIM card is automatically activated by initial data use, at which time the initial period of use begins. The status of SIM cards delivered in “Ready to activate” status automatically switches to “Activated” 14 days after the delivery date if there is no initial data use. The current status of a SIM card can be viewed on the Telefónica M2M/IoT platform at any time. |
| Purchase of additional data vouchers | Additional data vouchers can be purchased on the Telefónica M2M/IoT platform at any time. Use of additional data vouchers purchased does not begin until after the initial data voucher or previously purchased data vouchers have been fully utilised. The initial period of use remains 10 years independently of any additional data vouchers purchased. |
